Frequently Asked Questions
What is the repair process?
The wheels are repaired, reprimed, painted and lacquered, baked and refitted to your car.
How long does it take?
On average each wheel takes 1 to 2 hours.
Can I use the vehicle straight away afterwards?
Yes. Once the wheels are on the car, the vehicle is ready to go.
Do you rebalance the wheels afterwards?
Your wheels will not need rebalancing as we do not remove the tyre completely, the tyre is pushed away from the rim so we can repair the kerb damaged. The tyre is inflated afterwards in the same position so as long as your wheels where balanced when we started then nothing we do will effect the wheel.
Can you repair bent or cracked wheels?
Yes, but most repairs for bent of cracked alloy wheels will need to be done at our workshop facility in Dubai. We can collect your wheels and return and refit the wheels once the repairs have been completed.
Can you refurbish split rim wheels?
Split rim wheels come in many different styles so we need to asses each wheel individually. Bolted split rim wheels are easier to refurbish than riveted wheels. Please give us a call to discuss your requirements.
Are you fully insured?
Yes, Express Wheel Repairs are fully insured while working on your vehicle as well as the statutory employees and public indemnity insurance.
